What do you recommend as a good vacuum cleaner, not expensive. Also bagless is better. Also, which would you stay away from? Which out of town stores are better to buy from?

What do you consider expensive? What are your needs? I got a Shark Navigator Lift Away because I wanted a good filter, bagless, lightweight, good warranty (5 years), works well on carpet and hard floors, and easy to use for the stairs (the lift away works like a canister).
