The can says to use within 14 days of opening- does anyone know if it's ok to use it beyond that?

I noticed some mold on the side of the decorator tip- I guess I forgot to clean it off the last time I used it- and I'm wondering if this means that the contents of the can have gone bad....?

How do I know if it's still ok to use?
