Anyone have costume theme ideas for a bunch of tween boys? Must carefully tread the line between macho / masculine and cool. 
Personally, I'd think a ball team is cute, but no....masculine, yes, but not cool, apparently.
So...anyone?

How many guys are involved? If there are four, they could go as the Ramones. They would have fun choosing jeans to tear up at the thrift shop, and this is indisputably cool. Another option would be to go as a bunch of rabid sports fans (team jerseys, caps worn backwards, face-painting in team colours, etc.)

'Group costumes' are all the rage at my children's schools.
Last year I've spotted different groups of boys dressed up as Lego character (yellow face paints with hard hat, yellow rubber gloves, plain colour t-shirts), Where's Wally (red/white stripe shirts, round black-rim glasses), Smurfs (white knit caps, blue face paints, blue shirts and white trousers), pizza delivery guys (with empty pizza boxes), a number of Darth Vaders and another groups all dressed as Jedis etc.
