Do you mean basic velvet with the name machine embroidered? That you can get from a Judaica store. I bought one from Lakewood Judaica on James St.
Or did you mean something more customized with real embroidery? I saw needle point kits advertised in the Voice - but that you'd have to complete yourself.

I mean the first kind.
Can I buy that in any Judaica store? Roughly how much can I expect to pay for something like that?

I don't remember the price - possibly thirty something dollars. I would guess that it's a Judaica store item. I bought it in Lakewood Judaica in the James St. shopping strip.

I don't know about lakewood but I recently bough a tefillin bag for my son and there are all types - leather, velvet, fur etc. the letters were extra, but its worth putting the proper name on since you don't want to lose an expensive set of tefillin.
ANy decent judaica shop should have a nice range.
