http://articles.sun-sentinel.c.....bread
1 (12-ounce) package bow ties or fusilli
water
4-6 tablespoons oil
2 cups fresh bread crumbs, made from leftover challah
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
pepper, to taste
Cook fusilli in boiling water according to package directions; drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the butter or oil over low heat. Add the bread crumbs, sugar, salt and white pepper, stirring occasionally a few times until bread crumbs are browned. Add the cooked fusilli and mix well, adding more butter or oil if too dry. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
