Hey creative poem writers out there! I am trying to come up with a 5-6 line poem for a ballerina theme….and I'm not having much luck...My girls are dressing up as ballerinas, and my boy is wearing a tail suit, top hat, ascot tie…formal type….any poem ideas??

Happy Purim from _____ (your kid's name)

Skip the poem. No one reads them anyway.

Spinning and swirling through the air
Our ballerinas are moving gracefully with flair
Like Queen Esther from Persia of Old
Acting in a way that was sudden and bold
To save the Jews was her mission, her calling
And Hashem rescued us when we were falling

Happy Purim from the _______ family !

Hey Lizzie4 that was amazing! Any ideas for me? Kids dressing up as puzzles. Really wanted to tie together mm and costume with a poem. Maybe how we saw so clearly that the pieces of the puzzle Created an amazing yeshua in the times of Esther and Mordechai. May we be privileged to see the same....

So write that. That sounds so nice!
why is better if it rhymes?

whoever wrote most people don't even read the poems is right.

Thanks Very Happy

We look at the puzzle we bought from the store
Big pieces, Small pieces- Pieces galore!
This task seems daunting- It's hard to understand
How they'll soon come together with the work of my hand
Purim's a Yom Tov where we reflect and joyously celebrate
How a Yeshua was orchestrated from a terrible "sealed fate"
May we priveleged to see Miracles, big and small
Happy Purim from the ______ family to y'all!

The Purim story kept the Jews on their toes
With twists and with turns til Haman hung on gallows
And the whole pointe of this choreographed dance
Was to bring the Jews together and give them another chance
So don't work tutu hard and enjoy the day
With wishes for a Simchas Purim - from the (family) Ballet

Butterfly Poem

Look! A small velvet brown caterpillar in his cocoon
Looking about, he too wants to fly up and away soon
Then one day- It happens, His magical flight
My Butterfly goes fluttering by and flies out of sight
On colorful wings that catch the eye
I see him go- I say “Goodbye”
On Purim a great big lesson we see
Work hard and grow and a miracle can come to be!
Encourage yourself to reach for the sky
And you’ll see- You too will fly ever so high!

Happy Purim from the _______ family
