Anyone knw if triangle K is a good hechsher?
Got some stuff and didn't realize what it had.

No it generally is not Ok unless on plain canned vegetables. Just out of curiousity is this your first run in with this hechsher?

AIUI, triangle K is problematic because it relies on certain kulos for meat.
Many people hold it's OK for things like applesauce and chips.
The local vaad in my area is fine with some triangle K products. The local kosher grocery stores under the vaad carry brands such as Mott's and Tostitos.
So, as usual with halachic questions, you should AYLOR rather than rely on Rabbi Imamother.

OP may live somewhere other than the US... or may be a BT and not know the ins and out of all the US hechsherim.
BTW, it's not clear to me how much of this has to do with kashrut and how much has to do with politics.

She could be in Israel. I've seen things imported w/ all types of hechsherim. If I buy s/t from chutz laaretz, I like to recognize the original hechsher as well.
