My mother is a writer and wants to put her articles on a blog. She has basic computer skills and looking for simple but decant blogging platform to share her writing to a wide audience. Is wordpress to complex for beginner blogger. How about weebly?

Weebly not that simple, it's a DIY website builder with too many things to do for someone who just wants a blog. Google's blogger/blogspot is very user-friendly. Wordpress for a basic blog is nice too, you don't have to get into the deeper workings to just run a blog. But if you really want simple, just stick with blogger.

Google's blogspot.com is the easiest.
Takes about five minutes to set il and has all the options you need.
