proudmom - that question was in NO way meant to attack you. Your daughter is ka"h GORGEOUS and she really makes me smile every time I open a new page on this ite! It was more a question to the admin.

secondly, isn't this website for jews of all observances? if a reform or conservative member wanted to post a picture of their daughter, should they be excluded???

if you want to ask halachly I asked when my daughter was three and the rabbi said that the age is usually 12 or when they get into 1st grade people do it just because not to look different but at twelve is the halachicly done. now to do it at three brings blessings on the home, and for chinuch. but is no way mandatory.

I think she is cute and boy is she getting bigger I have to agree with miriam.

non-tznius pics???? COME ON!!!! the child is 4 kyh, she happens 2 have short sleeves - shes NOT in a thong 4 crying out loud - AND this is an all-female site!!!!...well all b in burkas next shock

Yasher Koach proudmom for changing the picture. Your daughter looks 10 x more adorable in the new pic. We all have some pictures that came out more tzniusdik than others. For that reason I would not post some of mine, although I cherish them.

What do you expect? this is the internet, viewable to everyone! I would think that for every person who 'should' be here, there are at least 2 who 'shouldn't'.

In another thread asking ppl how they found hte site, several ppl said it was while doing a search for feldheim books. That means that the site is not well 'hidden' on the internet (like some other sites are) but there is anyway no such thing as true privacy on the internet so I don't know why you're so shocked.
