I'm looking for something other than sitting hours by the sewing machine. I used the Buttoneer until now, but the replacement fasteners are junk and won't go all the way through the fabric without breaking during insertion. Please share, if you have any other way of doing it.

Are you able to order iron on labels? Or a stamp?

I like the iron on labels. They don't stay on as long as the ones you sew, but if you only need it for camp you should be fine.

Laundry marker. looks like a Sharpie. I think it's called Rub-a-Dub. Fabric paint from the crafts store for dark colors and socks, which don't take marker very well. I haven't sewn on a label since 1974.
