A friend of DH's is looking for a room or--ideally, a studio or roomate -- in Brooklyn or Queens, close-ish to Long Island Rail Road. He is coming from E"Y to live in America, and I promised to help him find a spot.
I think his max budget is $1100/month.

Please message me if you have any leads!! (And if the owner speaks Ivrit, that's even better as he'll be brand-new to the States.)
