Just a thought I had this morn

I wrote this while my kids ate breakfast. I couldn't decide writers forum or intimacy. But was more interested to hear ur thoughts on the writing than thoughts on my thoughts:) anon cuz tmi. I think.

My knees are like jelly. I should be in bed, wrapped into the arms of the man I love. Instead I am mixing bottles and changing diapers, exchanging cheerful good mornings with the three eager voices that greeted me earlier.
Soon the day's chores will wash away the endorphins that make my brain hazy and my muscles loose. For now I must put one foot in front of the other as I go from room to room.
"Last night was funny" you said as we passed in the hall. Funny? Like a joke?
There was this other time, about 1,000 years ago, when I crossed the days off a calendar and waited for you. You didn't disappoint. Until a few days later when u reminisced about how awkward u were.
Is it wrong to feel pleasure in an act so carnal? Is the only motivation a woman has for engaging in behavior so unscrupulous the promise of creating a new neshama. Or shulem Bayis?
Soon the chores of the day will wash away the endorphins that make my arms feel heavy and I will return to being a mother. For now the memory of last night casts the shadow of a smile on my lips. For now I am a wh***.
