I'm wondering if anyone knows of a Kosher hypoallergenic formula. If I could find, I would want my baby to have it. It would also make things a lot easier than having to worry about washing non-Kosher bottles with my other dishes.

Do you need prescriptions for the above mentioned formulas? I'm going to visit the US in the summer and would like to buy some and bring it back. I live in Israel and all I've heard about is Nutramigen which is not Kosher.

You can get Neocate in Israel. You need a prescription from a pediatrician and you need to go to your insurance's pharmacy.

Neocate is amino acid formula which is much more expensive than hydrolyzed formulas such as Nutramigen or Pepti.

Elevate is Kosher. Some insurance companies will cover it with a prescription from the doctor.
