Do you keep your ketchup in the refrigerator?

I do not, but I see that many people do. It does not need it- it's perfectly fine not refrigerated!

Yes we do. I think it says on the bottle that you should. And besides it tastes better cold

Growing up we did, but my husband's family never did. So now we don't. I don't really care, but he insists it is better room temp!

Not to cause you any SB problems ch"v  but I am with JMM on this one. Cold ketchup tastes better.

We never did growing up, and it was just fine. We do now, because my husband grew up with it in the fridge. And it does say keep refrigerated, so I "gave in".
I personally rather dip my french fries into room temperature ketchup than cold, though.

dh and I grew up with it in the fridge and keep it in the fridge. I never eat ketchup in pizza stores bec I know it is not refrigerated!

Hahah, no problems here! Luckily for us, one cares and one doesn't! I also don't care about brand, but he's a die-hard Heinz fan. No other ketchup can grace our kitchen!

Non Refrigerated ketchup comes out much too fast, especially in the hot summer.
My kids hate that. So we keep it in the fridge.
I'm not a ketchup person so I don't know if it's better cold or not.

Only Heinz for French fries! And only Osem for schnitzel and anything else!

From the Heinz site:
Q: Do I need to refrigerate Ketchup?
A: Because of its natural acidity, Heinz® Ketchup is shelf-stable. However, its stability after opening can be affected by storage conditions. We recommend that this product, like any processed food, be refrigerated after opening. Refrigeration will maintain the best product quality after opening.
BTW on the Osem bottle it says to store it unopened in a cool and dry place and in the fridge after opening. I'm the only and very occasional ketchup eater in the house, so a bottle can last us several months. We go through maybe 2 or 3 a year at most. Since ketchup has no preservatives it's a no brainer for us to keep it in the fridge. It might not spoil due to the vinegar but it might deteriorate.
OTOH we keep peanut butter in the cupboard since we go through that really quickly - several jars a month so no risk of rancidity- and its so much more spreadable at room temperature.

We don't refrigerate it. DS uses it at almost every meal (Eggs. Pizza. Anything that can be dipped.) We buy in large bottles that would take up too much fridge space.
Nobody finds the temperature makes a difference.
We don't refrigerate commercial mayo, either. Only homemade at Pesach.
