Does anyone have any tried and true tips for a moving sale?
We're moving in a very short time and need to get rid/pack our stuff quickly
Dont have so much to sell, but dont want to learn how to do this the hard way.
We put together a google doc and are sending it out...what is a good policy re: ppl reserving items verbally/putting down a deposit?
We need to sell bookshelves (Israeli - with cabinets at the bottom, sandwich wood) that we bought new and were put together by the ppl who delivered them. Obvs they're gonna need to be taken apart so the ppl who buy can get them out of our apt..is there anyone in J-m here that knows who specializes in that?

I bought 2 bookshelves with cabinets at the bottom 2nd hand from someone and I paid someone to move them. He has a truck and did not need to take them apart.

IME, it's standard that a mover takes apart the furniture if necessary and then puts it back together. We recently moved a bedroom set and that's what the movers did.
What PP said, I guess it depends on big it is. Our movers were moving a huge closet. I doubt it would fit out the door.

Thanks for the tips!
We're sending a lift and we're making decisions what to take with us on the plane and what to ship...anyone out there can send suggestions of things they wished they did/didnt put on their lift?
