I would like to freeze raw potato kugel in pans. how do you bake it?
has anyone had experience with this?

I freeze it baked. (A little under baked in fact).
Rather than defrosting, I put it, uncovered, straight into a hot oven. Have never tried it raw.

I bake it for one hour uncovered on 500f. I them freeze it. To reheat\bake I put it tightly covered and frozen into the oven on 225 for a few hours. ( I sometimes raise it to 350 to bake other things as well and then lower it)

I would imagine that raw potato kugel would become brown before it freezes. Rather bake it a little first and then freeze it.
