today's my son's hebrew birthday. so I gave him his gift (a toy drill) which has been keeping him busy for hours.
so I baked challah and cake.  Things I don't get to do too often.
I want to go out, but now I'm too tired!
Just as an aside, 3 years ago July 4th, I went wth my husband (this is prekids, I was in my 9th month) to watch the fireworks. The highway STOPPED. LIterally. People got out of their cars on the BQE to watch the fireworks. I was so glad I didn't go into labor then. The next night I did. LOL. But he was born the night after - motzei Shiva Aser B'Tamuz.

I saved a little piece of the dough to make pizza later on. Probably just enough for me.
I decided I wanted to get as many challas as possible, since it's such a treat that I bake.
