am looking for ideas for toys for an almost 2 year old boy. He likes playing with toys to an extent, but always wants me to sit and play with him being that he is my only one and needs the company.
I do play with him, a lot even, but I also need some time to make supper, do different things, breath, etc. I come home from work at the same time that he comes home from playgroup so don't have any time to do anything when he isn't home.
So, what I need is ideas for toys that he will play by himself, even just for 10/15 minute at a time.
Anoyn cuz have asked many ppl about this.

A toy piano . Basically anything that has lights and music. I take those out when I need to prepare dinner, it gives me the longest stretch.

he has the mega blocks, but doesn't play with it for too long. I just have the basic set. I wonder if additional sets would help?
I have duplo legos which he like but makes me play with him.
he has mentchies and dishes... doesn't play with it much.
I like the idea of the piano. I mean, he has musical things but I think a piano where he actually "makes" the music might be more interesting. which one would be a good one?
he likes cars. any ideas what kind of things I can get related to cars?
