I want to organize my closets but I'm having a hard time doing it economically. wherever I search, the only nice storage bins are minimum $5-$8 small ones. I'm going to need A LOT!
any ideas? or anyone know of someplace that sells them for cheaper?
I don't like the plastic ones from the dollar tree.........

I like Hefty. latching lids work well, quality is good, they're close to rectangular, the different sizes are modular, they stack and nest well, and you can see through to the inside. Here's a link to their small ones: http://www.lowes.com/ProductDi.....PDIO1
Whatever you choose, try to stick one brand;, it will make stacking them much easier and also looks better.

Try IKEA. They have many options in various materials (plastic, cloth, cardboard). Also, depending where you live you can try Amazing Savings.

If you don't need decorative, I get the sterilite bins at Target. They go on sale pretty often but the regular prices there are quite good too. The shoebox size at 5 for $6 works for many things.

If you dont mind red and green ones target usually starts putting all the bins on sale really cheap this time of year. Ive gotten the really large ones for $4-5

Target stores have great options (much better than their options online.)
Even their huge bins (meant for basement storage) are just $7.99.

The green-and-red storage bins go on sale right after xmas. Great for storing out-of-season/between-children wardrobes in the basement.
for non-storage household use I prefer the plain clear ones.

Not sure where you're located but I found decent plastic bins in amazing savings for $1.50 each. You can also try dollar tree or x-mas tree shops.
They're hard to find online because the really cheap ones are not worth the shipping costs so they only sell the more expensive ones.
