I'm making a Mexican bean salad. Now what to serve with it?
Either garlic bread and fish, although the fish store might be closed. So just in case I will need to do something different.
I'm thinking of doing a pasta and a soup. But what pasta and what soup. Please advise.

The bean salad has enough protein and fiber , I would make a blended butternut squash soup or carrot ginger. I wouldn't make pasta too but you could make penne a la vodka or baked ziti or orzo with sautéed mushrooms, but the menu doesn't really match.
You could go roasted Garlic zuchinni soup, the bean salad and roasted kabocha squash wedges or sweet potatoe fries or butternut fries or cubes . I think that goes well together.
