I know I could figure this out logically, but how many cups (or fractions thereof) of very well pureed carrots would it take? TIA!!

A jar is 4 oz and and if you wanted to convert to cups it would be a scant 1/2 cup.
Jarred pureed carrots are thinned with water and made very smooth.
