Ok, so I live in Queens but I guess I haven't really been so much out of Flushing. We're looking to move one day to a bigger apartment (rent) but I'm looking at different areas in Queens. I don't want to go too far away from my area, but at the same time, want it to be a nice area. So I looked at Glen Oaks and found a nice apartment possibility. It says that it's only 6 minutes walk away from Young Israel of New Hyde Park. So since Glen Oaks is close to New Hyde Park, can anyone tell me more about this area? how's it in terms of schools? any orthodox sepharadics as well (or/and Israelis)? is it a quiet/safe neighborhood?
