I made a potato soup and after I blended it, the consistency looks more like mashed potatoes than soup! Any ideas of what to do to make it better?

Why don't you add water?

Add water (or milk, if it's dairy), then taste it to see if you need more salt or spices because of the greater volume.

I guess adding water would be the obvious move lol. I thought it might be odd to add water to what is, essentially mashed potatoes but I shall do that! Thanks all Smile

Add broth, like the kind that comes in a box. It'll add or maintain flavor instead of just watering it down.
