I want to make a pasta salad with a whole wheat onion roll and something else.

a) Does anyone have a delicious Macaronni salad recipe?
b) Any idea for what I can put in with that? (another salad? dip? drink?)

Trying to keep it cheap....I need to make about 60 I think.

Thanks!

How about a container of soup with it? That's cheap to make and containers for soup aren't expensive either.

Tri colored pasta salad with baby corn chick peas, olives, cut up peppers, and a simple oil vinegar sugar dressing. I can give you the exact amounts if you are interested.

If it's warm in your city, please be careful about keeping the salad cold while delivering.

My dad makes the best pasta salad.

Elbow macaroni cooked
Then dice
Celery
Pickles
Apples
1 package of frozen peas and carrots (the one with the cubed carrots) defrosted NOT cooked

Mayo
Salt and pepper to taste.

The apples and pickles make it VERY yummy.

16 oz. elbow macaroni, cooked according to pkg
1 cup frozen peas and carrots, thawed
3 Israeli pickles, diced
1 cup light mayonnaise
1/4 cup boiling water
1 teaspoon garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon salt

Combine mayo, water, garlic power and salt in a jar. Cover and shake until smooth and creamy.
Place the macaroni, peas, carrots and pickles in a large bowl and pour dressing over it. Mix until well combined.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours before serving.
