The study, while very interesting, is about the effects of continuous environmental white noise, such as from traffic, airplanes, construction, etc., and how it affects the developing brain by interfering with exposure to normal speech and language patterns. The study has nothing to do with using white noise for limited periods to help babies sleep.

I have the dome and the sound screen. They look the same , I like the sound scren much better. Ive had the sound screen for over 4 years. Its working great both the dome and the sound screen have an internal fan the makes the noise. On shabbos I keep it running straight. On yt I put a shab clock on it
