Hi! I'm hoping to frost some cookies tomorrow asap. I was planning to use confectioners sugar and margarine sticks, but I can't find the ratio of sugar to margarine. Looking online it looks like frosting is more implicated than I thought. (I guess Pesach isn't the best time to make frosting for the first time ever!!! oops!))
I'm hoping for some tips. I have a hand mixer, confectioners sugar, and margarine sticks. I have vanilla sugar too. Xylitol. And coconut oil. In case any of that sounds useful to you. Now what??

Thank you r-mom - so water instead of milk, a dash of vanilla sugar instead of vanilla? (never bought the imitation)
Have you ever made frosting with coconut oil instead of margarine? how was that? (besides coconutty)

Yes, water instead of milk, unless you're up to buying almond milk now.
A tablespoon of vanilla sugar instead of 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
I haven't useded coconut oil for this (only butter) but I would expect it to be good as I use coconut milk for whipped cream and heavy cream and it's deliiicious.
