My sister in law is getting married iyh and I will be about 6/7 months at the wedding. I started looking online for gowns and the only think that keeps showing up is empire waist dresses. I don't know why but to me that style makes a person looks huge all over when in reality they just ha e a stomach. Are there any other styles I can look at that would work? My other oregnancies I was always just stomach (and not a huge one at that)

Try Hindy's maternity in Boro Park. Found a beautiful gown there.

I am the amother who wrote the post a couple of days ago about a more fitted maternity gown.
I agree with you that empire waist is not flattering and makes the perosn just look big and boxy everywhere.
The gown I bought is more fitted but looks classy and is not tight/stomach accentuating. It definitely shows that Im pregnant, but thin in the other areas.
