s/o to forum regarding Cuisinart. I am in the market for a new set of pots. After reading many comments regarding Cuisinart and how difficult it is to keep it clean and shiny, I saw a nice set of Emeril Pots at Bed Bath and Beyond. Anyone have the set, and are you happy with it? Any comments, positive and/or negative would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The stainless pots are made by All Clad and are good quality. I have a set that I've had for over 10 years and they are great.

I bought a 12 piece set. I haven't used it yet. However, the largest pot it has is only 6 quart. I was wondering if I can buy separate pieces, I.e., an 8 quart pot?

I used the 6 qt. pot yesterday for the first time to cook knaidlach (matzo balls). The top knaidlach were nice and fluffy, but a few at the bottom looked hard and not well done. When I washed out the pot afterwards, it appeared as though a layer of the coating had come off and there were white spots at the bottom of the pot where the coating appeared to have come off.
