Obviously we can't possibly know what's really going on behind closed doors.
When AH filed for divorce two days after JD's mom passed away, all I could think was what kind of person would do such a thing, and also how do you not get a prenup when you're worth 400 mil.
Now she released this whole thing about domestic violence and it's hard to know what's real and what's for money.
OOH I hate to be that woman casting doubt on another woman's claim of dv.
OTOH, she obviously has an incentive to lie. Also, when I divorced someone who was even just emotionally abusive, I never tried to go after his money because I just wanted him out of my life so badly. (Luckily that made the process very easy for me because he would have had more to lose by making it difficult.) Of course, my ex didn't have THAT kind of money, and in any case, people react differently to different situations, so maybe someone who was abused would nevertheless go after money.
It's just hard to know when a woman is lying when she has so much to gain.
