We are going from NYC. We have a 5 and a 7 year old. Where can I get the cheapest car? Other things we can do around there? Anything I should know about he Hershey park app? Food? Thank you!

Are you looking for free stuff to do around there or anything exciting? How far will you travel?
all my ideas require some driving
Free:
Perrydell farm milking (go during milking times): http://perrydellfarm.com/
Factory Tours. Not sure what is right there, maybe Herr's or Utz
Not Free:
Lake Tobias: Great Animal Safari and zoo
Millersburg Ferry: old fashioned ferry across the river and back if you enjoy that type of thing (nothing to do on the other side except really come back)
Go to Lancaster: Cherry Crest Farm, Strousberg Railroad, etc.

Thank you! I get that it all requires driving. I want a cheap rental car, not NYC prices

These are all good ideas. I think my kids would like the farm

there is a car museum near Hershey that my kids really enjoyed. we went once when it rained and they enjoyed it a lot.
we also did Hershey gardens (mommy's choice, I needed a break from the rides!) and while e/one moaned and groaned in the car, they all loved it!
