The glass lid to my soup pot and frying pan is broken. I tried to find a separate new lid at a local store, but the options were way off on the size. Short of buying a new pot, what are my options? I don't want a perfectly good pot to go to waste just because the lid broke. Is it possible to find a separate lid? Am I doomed to cover with tin foil when cooking?

What brand is it? Call the company and find out if you can purchase a replacement.

does farberware have replacements ... we just decide we can now use them in the oven since the handles won't melt - missing and all

Unfortunately, I don't remember which company it is, and it is not printed on the pot.
I guess I try amazon, because the two stores where I found lids, where too big. (Though I did get another reasonably priced pot.)
Thanks, ladies.
