I just had a baby and I am now elgible for foodstamps until dh finishes school and gets job. I know there are ppl that help u get on for a fee. I am located in flatbush. Do any of these ppl come to me or would I have to go to them. Id rather not have to schlepanywhere with newhorn....it you know any names and numbers please pass along. Thanks.

If you are eligible for food stamps why would you need to pay someone to help you get them?
When I applied for food stamps in Brooklyn I just went to the office and answered their questions. They were very nice and helpful.
