I want to make an oatmeal craisin cookie recipe in a cake pan to cut into squares. What do I need to do to convert the recipe, if anything? Would the baking time differ?

I have baked a choc chip cookies recipe in a pan with great success! Of course, you bake it longer.

right. you would take it out when it's still soft. it crumbles when you try to cut it if you let it get crisp.
