From page 117
2 lbs ground beef
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs
2 eggs lightly beaten
Garlic powder to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion chopped (optional)
3 (8-ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (15-ounce) can jellied or whole cranberry sauce
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup packed dark brown sugar
Combine ground beef, bread crumbs, eggs, garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste in a bowl and mix well. Heat oil in a skillet over low heat and sauté onion until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, cranberry sauce, lemon juice, and brown sugar and cook until cranberry sauce and brown sugar dissolve, stirring occasionally.
Roll beef mixture into desired size meatballs and add to sauce. Cook covered for 45-60 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through, stirring occasionally.
Makes 6 to 8 servings
Enjoy!

May I suggest a modification of this recipe?
just use equal amounts of tomato sauce to cranberry sauce (jellied) (ie- 1 15 oz can each). pour in a pot and stir on low flame.
Add your meatballs (mixture is with egg, seasoning, breadcrumbs, etc). cover and cook on low flame. you do not need to add anything else for the sauce. Easy and delicious!!
