Does anyone know who is taking over for Rebetzin Paretsky in Bais Yaakov of Monsey? My daughter is in 8th grade and we need to decide on high schools. I heard they announced her replacement, but I don't know the name or anything about them. Anyone have any information that would be helpful? Will the school change drastically?

Rebbitzen Eisenberg. I don't know how the school will change, although I am sure it will change somewhat but also maintain their current mission statement. I know Reb. Eisenberg and she is an extremely wise, kind person. The school is lucky to be getting her!

I heard that Rebetzin Paretsky might be continuing on in BYM on a part-time basis, commuting from Lakewood.

Other rumors have it that she's going to be principal of Bnos Devorah in Lakewood's high school.

Reb. Eisenberg has Roosevelt yeshiva.She used to live in lkwd she Meir Hertz from Tashbats daughter. She teaches in B.Y monsey presently.. alot of dif rumors abt Reb Paretzky but I heard alot of it isn't true as to where she's going..

Rebetzin Eisenberg started teaching at BYM last year- she taught Mishlei to the 11th grade, and the girls were absolutely in love with her by the end of the year. A very close family member of mine is in BYM and was taught by RE last year, so I know this is true. She told me that every single type of girl found RE to be wise, kind, caring, and nonjudgmental- including the girls that generally don't like the hanhalla in BYM.
Also, Rebetzin Paretzky won't be commuting in next year. She considered doing it for a while, but ultimately decided against it.
The girls are absolutely heartbroken at losing her (for real! You should hear the way the girls carry on... Rebetzin Paretzky is a truly outstanding menaheles!) but they say that if someone has to replace her, then they're glad its Rebetzin Eisenberg.

Yes, Rebetzin Eisenberg does teach at BY Ramapo as well.

Yes she is opening up her own high school and I heard that Chani Juravel is taking over but I'm not sure that is true.
