I would like to make a split pea soup for Shabbat lunch, with the slow cooker on the low setting. (The warm setting does not keep it hot enough). So if it will be cooking for a total of about 20 hours, how much extra liquid would I add? For reference, when I make it during the week, I usually use 5 cups of liquid to 1 cup split peas when I cook it for 5 hours on high. TIA

No clue but could you please report back after shabbos. If it comes out well I think I might try it some time.

I added about 2 cups of extra liquid. It came out really good!
