What op meant to ask is how big is the biggest gap between the oldest and youngest child that you heard of.
And it would be nice to be abit more considerate.

Let me help you with this, and this is not to denigrate your English skills, which improve with each post.

'What is the greatest age difference between the first child and the last child that you know of' .

And I'll give you an answer based on my family. There are 16 years between my oldest brother and myself. To me that was significant since I was the youngest of 3 and shared little with my oldest brother.

FYI the OP is not a native English speaker. Many of us have noted the improvement in her language skills and offer a bit of understanding.

Do stepsiblings count? DH and I have a blended family, and there is a 22 year gap between the oldest and the youngest.

Mazel tov to your mother's cousin!

(And I am so impressed by how hard you work on your English. Keep it up!)

I was 23 when my youngest brother was born. He is a year and 3 months younger than my oldest son. They are best friends.

My SILs grandfather was born over thirty years after his oldest brother (both parents were the same) While the oldest brother died as a one year old SILs grandfather lived to be over one hundred. So the two brothers were born over thirty years apart and died over one hundred and thirty years apart!

Not quite... they died around 70 years apart. If little brother was born when big brother was 30, he died when big brother was 31, and big brother died about 70 years later.

mommyla- I don't understand your math. The way I understood the post The older son was the one who died when he was one. lets say he was born in 1800, died in 1801. second brother was born in 1830 and died in 1930 from 1801 to 1930 is over 120 years.
