Which daycare centers in Lakewood are properly licensed?
I had assumed that the daycare I was planning on sending to was properly credentialed, but I just did a search on the DCF and I'm not seeing any of the local daycares listed (besides Oorah).
Are any of the daycare centers actually licensed?

I believe all the CHS daycare must be licensed.

Some operate as a division of a school avoiding the Dcf licensing requirements.

So I've noticed...
1 - are there any others that are properly licensed, but just aren't showing up on the search tool?
2 - What requirements are in place to protect me and my child if they are set up as a division of a school?
3 - If a care center claims to be CHS certified, what does that tell me about the oversight, care, and safety in the center?

I heard CHS is changing things and it wont be so worth it for everyone anymore.
