My raw fish was left on kitchen counter overnight. Fish store said if Doesn't smell bad I can cook it. Wwyd?

Sorry, but I would toss! Not worth getting sick. I've had food poisoning twice in th last few years from bad fish (not made by me). Totally not worth it!!!

Oh my!!! I cooked it already! But I'm not gonna risk!! And seriously, food poisoning?? Even though my kitchen is cold during the night?? Wow! Thanks everyone

and I was going to say depends on how cold the room was that you left it out in ... and when you say raw you don't mean frozen but fresh ? also was overnight from midnight to 6 am or from 5 pm till 10 am ... length of time would factor in for me as well

also you can broil it & kill any salmonella
