How did Sept 11 th effect you emotinaly ? mentally?

The thing about September 11th, was you never knew what was happening next. Now we know: tower hit, tower hit, plane hits pentagon, plane crashes in Pennsylvania, tower falls, tower falls.
But there was so much confusion that day, and mistaken reports. At one time, I heard the Liberty Bell was hit, or that they found a bomb under the GWB.
At one time that day, my daughter asked me a question, and I answered "When Abba comes home". At that second it hit me that he may never come home.
Of course that's true any day, but something about that day drove the point home.
Since then, I really don't sweat the small stuff. I'm so grateful to Hashem for every minute of life and health that He gives my family and me, that it's much harder for me to get upset about little things. I have a very different perspective on the important things in life.
