I've had them recently installed in my new kitchen. According to what I learned while researching this, I highly doubt anyone will install them on top of ceramic tiles. You will need to have the tiles removed, the wooden plyboards underneath redone or fixed up (they often get damaged by the removal of ceramic tile) and then install the vinyl. The place that installed my vinyl tiles did not offer the service of removal of old tiles; we needed someone else to do that.

thank you for the info. Do you have the numbers for people who removed your old tiles and installed the new ones?
