BH my baby is almost 1!

People have been asking what to buy for him, and I said age-appropriate toys, but I have no idea what that means.

He likes to push things - trucks, his own stroller, etc... Doll strollers are too light to support his weight. He doesn't walk just yet but he does cruise B"H.

Any ideas?

Go to target, walmart, toys r us on line and click on toys for a 12 month old. They might even have it by gender..and see what you might think baby will like

mine loves shape sorters. Even if he can't really "do" them yet he loves taking the shapes out and putting them in. He loves magformers (those are a bit pricey though). He likes his activity walker, his bath toys, any toys that make noise, cars, fisher price little people and the cars and buses that go with them, toy fire engines that make sounds, and 3 piece puzzles (you know, the ones with the knobs).
