How many is the most number of boys or girls in a row in a family before the family had the opposite gender(if they ever did)...I will start. I know a family with 8 girls and no boys.

A well known family in monsey has 10 boys, no girls.
I know a family that has 7 girls no boys.

I had a student that was the first girl after 8 boys. Her mom was pregnant the year she was my student and she had another boy.

My mother had 7 girls then a boy. Then more girls.....
My classmate from school is one of 11 girls. In 7th grade after 11 girls straight her mother had a her first boy. She went on to have two more boys.
My sister has 5 girls then 3 boys.

I know a Baptist family with one girl and nine boys.

I have 3 boys. My husband really wants a girl but I'd be perfectly happy to keep having boys. I have a friend who has 5 boys and then the 6th is a girl. I read a story in the news about a family that is part of the Quiverfull movement that has 13 boys, and the wife's sister has 10 boys.

I was listening to a phone in radio programme some years ago and the subject was large families; one person phoned in and said they knew of a family that had 17 children- all girls!
