This is will be my first haircut since getting married and I'm looking to get a normal haircut. Everyone I know just takes a scissor and chops it themselves. I want to go to a salon that is not all out in the open(not someone's house) and get something styled nice. All the places I've gone to before I got married have glass windows facing the street etc.

Any such place in NYC?

Do you want to pay $150 for a haircut? I saw a place that looked private but it's very $$$.

I used to have a private place I went to, but she had an accident and doesn't work anymore. I walked around NYC, looking for alternatives.

I just gave up and go to Supercuts when they first open, before it gets busy.
