Do you have the custom that you have to stand during the whole prayer during YK, today and tomorrow?
My husband has it, but b'h not for the women. I feel bad seeing him standing for hours and hours though.

We were taught to dafka sit a little because otherwise we'd be chayav to stand for YK davening for the rest of our lives!

I think it is optimal to stand but most people aren't able to stand the whole time so they do as much as they can.

The most important thing to do is fast, so if you're not feeling well - or if you don't want to get to the point of not feeling well, you should sit down.
