is there a certain time of day?

I'm sure any time is good, of course. I was personally instructed by a Rebbe to say it on Shabbos. He did not say whether by night or by day, so I say it when I am able.

I said shir hashirim for 40 days and my parents said it countless times. I guess it worked in the end.

I know this is an old thread, but I couldn't find the more recent one. I'm a bit embarrassed to ask, especially as myself (not amother) but where would I find shir hashirim? In a regular siddur? where specifically? Thanks.

It is in a regular siddur immediately before Kabbolas Shabbos.

Thank you. Is it ok to say in the morning, you think?
