Timing how long your tasks really take will make your to do list more accurate in terms of what you can actually get done. Hatzlacha!

I put the oven on 550.
Peel the 6-8 potatoes 3 minutes
Process them 2 minutes
Put in the rest of the things and into oven 3 minutes.
Wash away 2 minutes.
I know that when I do the thing already I might be faster that some people. My problem is 'till' I do it.

Thanks that's sweet of you.
If I am focused, that's how long it takes me.
If I know I'm racing with someone, I don't stop to do a million things while I'm on the task.

Seashell, I've been there. (Still am there tbh.) And I want to echo rubber ducky's advice. It doesn't matter if a task SHOULD take 10 mins or if you can technically do it in 10 mins. What matters is how long it actually takes you, distractions included. Give yourself 22 minutes to do it next time, instead of 10 mins. Otherwise you end up feeling like a failure for (yet again) not managing to do a "10-minute task" in 10 minutes. Set realistic goals you know you can achieve, even though it's tempting to overschedule your time.

I'm gonna start cooking shabbos soon, let's see how long it will take...
Here's my estimation:
Chicken soup 10min
Kugel 20 min
Chicken 5 min
Fish 15 min
Cholent 20 min
Compote 15 min
Cleanup 45 min.
In between everything- supper with hubby.
Will return and try to correct any inaccurate timings.

Potatoe kugel Farfel and chulent cook

This list is beyond long and I'm having anxiety just writing all this.
I won't do it all in one shot.
The cooking part is done by me and part by dh
And so is cleaning.
I have no idea how long this all takes. It's my,list
I wish I New how long it took. I have no patience to do it at all.
I am gonna push off a lot for tomorrow. I have so little energy.

Not bad.
I scrubbed two bathrooms really well. (I do that once a month. Like REALLY WELL. Scrubbed the walls where the hard water scum builds up. And unclog the shower head with a toothpick. Love doing it )
Tidyed up the living room dining room.
Dh is home. Gonna serve supper now. Check in soon.
Op u there?
