I'm looking for a timer that I can set for 5 minutes and at 4.5 minutes it should ping to alert me and then fully ring when the 5 minutes are up.
Or else an app that can do this.
Any ideas where to find or what to look for?

There are small programable timers that are used in laboratories. Give it a google, you may find just what you need.

Yes. Can you post a link? That would be helpful!

Sorry! I haven't bought a timer in ages (I usually use the one on my oven) and definitely not online so I don't have a link. I would google it or look around on Amazon/Walmart/target and see what you find. Keep in mind that it is not always in the manufacturer's description so pay attention to customer questions and reviews.

VisTimer Free is an app that can time for up to 10 minutes. It has an option for "early warning" which can be set to ring 1-5 minutes before the time is up.

If you have a cellphone, you probably already have a timer function built-in to your phone.
