I'H we are having our first baby this winter and we don't know the gender. After many many years of unsuccessful attempts this is our rainbow baby. I would love to name the baby a name that has meaning and shows our tremendous gratitude for our miracle.

I don't like the typical Baruch/Bracha, yehuda/yehudit.

Looking for suggestions. Thanks!

Maybe tell us what kind of name works for you. (yiddish, modern israeli, biblical, etc)
I personally love Chananya, Elchanan, Yochanan, Chanan. The root Chein means bestowed upon us.
Ezriel, Eliezer, Azarya- Hashem helped us.
Netanel, Matanya- a gift (from Hashem)
Shai, Yeshaya- also a gift from Hashem
Yechezkel and Chizkiyahu - Hashem is my strength

For a girl, Eliana, Hodaya, Chana (root of chein),
Gila, Rina, Chedva, Fraidel- to express happiness

Sima- treasure in Aramaic
Orlee, Leora, Ora - light
Elisheva - Hashem promised
Odelya- praise
Shira, Tehilla,
Chaviva, Yakira, Ahuva, Leba - precious, beloved
Annaell
Shulamis-perfection or complete

For a boy, Yonasan, Natan, Matisyahu,
Efrayim is always meaningful to me from Habein Yakir Li Efrayim.
I know someone who named their son Yitzchok because Ki B'Yitzchok yikoreh lecho zera.

I have a Yosef and Shmuel. After loosing a child I wanted a meaningful name but not one that screamed nebach. I chose Yosef because it suited him so well and it means to add. He added to our family. As my life settles and I had another boy I also wanted something meaningful so my baby is shmuel. Hashem listened to me.

I'm dreaming of names for my hopefully-soon-to-be-conceived post-IF baby. I love Tehila and Noam (not for any particular reason, just one of my favorites and love the meaning), to be combined with family names iy"H, but I also know that you never really know until you see that baby!

A Friend did Shimon yerachmiel

One girl had a son after having multiple miscarriages and chose Yitzchak as one of his names. Wasn't 90 yo then but disnt take that baby for granted,

Another time a woman didn't know if they'd ever have more kids and when she had a baby named him Yosef Shimon (that HaShem added a Shimon to the family)

Yeshaya means "G-d's salvation" from shoresh yud shin ayin, which means salvation. Shai is an unrelated name and it does mean "gift" .
