First take care of yourself so you can manage. Have coffee and/or breakfast and then go back to caring for kids.

Are you still in bed? Can you bring them into your bed for a cuddle and an apology?

Or can you work out why you are feeling angry?

What have you planned for the day?

Op here.

Thanks ginger, just had a coffee and already feeling better!
Long out of bed, nothing planned which makes it more foreboding.
My cleaner canceled for tomorrow so I am on edge with every mess they make.

I feel so bad for my kids..I need to regulate my emotions and I'm having a hard time keeping in check.

Someone have a mantra I can repeat?

Constant check ins: how do I feel? What do I want?
Just being focused on your emotions helps. Own your happiness and do small bits of self care throughout the day.
And "it's not an emergency." for the worry. So many times I freaked out because if x was happening, y would follow. But then z would happen and it'll all work out!

Op here. All is well that ends with a trip to the ice cream store! Good night!
